The walls downstairs are 10.5 ft. Scaffolds were used during the rennovation. Constant vacuuming required to keep up with the dust. Otherwise we'd being blowing dust around all the finished painted walls in the other rooms. 
Looks great! What type of plaster mix did you use? Did you use any type of bonding agent? I will have to get some pics of my house up somewhere soon. Thanks!
